These three portraits have been published in the new issue of the Israeli art magazine Programma. Each photograph on a double spread.
My approach , when I came to photograph them , was - having a conversation,with the artist I came to photograph, and seeing what comes out of it.
I didn't come with a set plan , as I usually do.
My only decisions beforehand were - to take horizontal shots and to use available light. All the rest was decided after the encounter.
I think that the result is a bit difficult to swallow because the photographs are unheroic. Simple. What you see is what you get. Raw.Rough.
I like them a lot !
