The beautiful and unique hotel opens a Great Gatsby style garden ,where the service is discreet and excellent and the atmosphere is a mix between the efficiency of the West and the luxury of the Orient .

So yesterday afternoon we left steaming Tel -Aviv for a short cool break in Jerusalem.
I had a lovely Keir Royal cocktail enjoying the dry desert breeze.
But I forgot to bring a sweater , so once the sun came down we headed back home to the heat.
