Portraits for Start Up Nation central's team

 For the management of the amazing start up nation central organization I have suggested a rather strict style of photography, with a smile.

 

 

Basically one light source, a bit from above, with the occasional addition of a back light.

A dark background always adds interest but you have to pay attention that it does not cast dark tones on the face of your subject.

The photo shoot took place in the offices of SNC, where we have built a studio, so it was very comfortable for everybody.

Thank you to the wonderful makeup artist - Karin Dekel, and Avram Galili for the post production.

את הפורטרט החדש של אמילי מואטי, חברת הכנסת מטעם מפלגת העבודה

 

 

בחרתי לצלם בתאורת אולפן קלאסית. פלאש אחד עם סופט בוקס גדול מהצד, ומילוי עם מטריה ממול

 

לקראת סוף הסשן ראיתי שאור היום באולפן, נופל על אמילי בצורה מאוד יפה. שיניתי את הנתונים במצלמה (צמצם, מהירות, טמפרטורת צבע) וצילמתי גם כמה פריימים עם אור יום.

לכל אחת מהתאורות איכויות משלה, אבל אני בעיקר מאחלת לאמילי להשתמש בצילומים בכמה שיותר תפקידים ובהצלחה

For the new portrait of Emilie Moatti, Knesset member for the Labor Party,
 I chose to shoot with classic studio lighting. One flash with a large soft box on the side, and a fill in with an umbrella from the front.

Towards the end of the session I saw that daylight in the studio, is falling on Ms. Moatti in a very beautiful way.

 I changed the data on the camera (aperture, speed, color temperature) and  shot some frames with daylight, as well.

Each lighting has its own qualities, but I mostly wish Moatti to use the photographs in as many roles as possible and successfully.
