Wild Asparagus

This bunch of beautiful and fresh Asparagus was collected from along the roads, growing wild, among many other eatable plants, in a small area in central Israel. Near Beit Shemesh to be exact.
All you need is lots of patience, a good eye, and knowledge to distinguish right from wrong.
We have followed Talor Cohen, who specializes in gathering eatable plants in Israel.

This is the Holy Thistle. You can eat all it's parts.You can also drink it as herbal tea and use it for different medical purposes. And to think that I've always thought that it's a useless thorn
