עדי אסף גליק , מעצבת ובעלת המותג , הגיעה אלי כשהבקשה העיקרית היתה לבלוט במדיה החברתית והשנייה להסביר שמדובר בבגדים מושקעים ומחויטים לילדות
בהחלט לא בייסיק !
היה ברור לי שלא נצלם שוב ילדות מפריחות בלונים עם כתר זול או אזני ארנב על הראש ,על רקע רך כלשהו.
מאחר ועדי גרה ליד חדרה וידעתי שיהיה קשה לנייד את הילדות חיפשתי לוקיישן עם נוכחות באיזור שלה. עדי סיפרה לי שבמושב בו הם גרים יש אמן מסקרן עם חצר מלאה בהפתעות. באתי לראות . באותה הזדמנות גם גיליתי אצל עדי בחצר גבעונת חול סחף מהגשמים שהיו
כך נולדו שתי סדרות של צילומים - אחת מסיבת תה כהלכתה, בסטודיו הקסום של בוריס פנסון במושב חוגלה והשנייה על רקע החול עם מוטיב של אוניה סחופה מהים עם ארגזי אוצרות וילדות בבגדים חגיגיים . האוניה הוליכה באסוציאציות לזמר אדם אנט ובגדי שודד הים שלו. כך שציירנו על פני הילדות את האיפור שלו וגם הוספנו תסרוקות פנק ופיח שחור רמז לאניה שנסחפה
מאחר והיתה עוד קולקציה אבל ידענו שלא יהיה לנו זמן להתניידות נוספת יצרנו על רקע החול הסחוף סצינה נוספת , סוריאליסטית במהותה ומתאימה לקולקציה בשחור לבן עם אלמנטים גרפיים חזקים של כדורי ענק וקומפוזיציות גרפיות מפתיעות מצולמות בעדשה רחבה
בנוסף לכל זה האלמנט העיקרי שהפתיע ומשך שלל תגובות במדיה החברתית היה העובדה שהילדות צולמו בקבוצות.
קבוצות מורכבות עם סיפורים קטנים
צילומים כאלה של אופנה פחות שכיחים בגלל מורכבותם ועוד יותר נדירים כשמדובר בילדים
יש אמנם הרבה צילומי ילדים בקבוצות אבל הם תמיד בסיטואציה של חבורה משתוללת בצורה זו או אחרת , ואילו כאן תכננו קבוצות מסוגננות לעילא ומבויימות לפרטי פרטים. כשלכל אחת משלושת הקבוצות אופי שונה
את כל הצילומים עשינו עם תאורה מלאכותית , מה שלא הקל , גם על העבודה עם ילדים וגם על ההתניידות . אבל היה שווה את המאמץ

When I plan a photo shoot for a fashion brand , I think very well what this brand really needs and stands for .
I put my ego and the trends of the fashion crowd aside.
A very good example are the photographs I did for the girls clothing brand , Catteliya ,about a year ago .

Adi Asaf Glick , designer and brand owner , came to me with the primary request to stand out in social media and the second to show that this brand is about tailored clothes for girls . Definitely not BASIC .It was clear to me that we will not shoot playful soft girls with balloons, cheap crowns or bunnies ears in some other soft background .
We needed something much more special .Since Adi lives around Hadera I searched for an elegant location for the shoot in the region. Adi told me that where they live there is an intriguing artist with a yard full of surprises .
I came to see . On that occasion I also saw in Adi's yard a small sand hill that was swept to the yard from recent rains .
So I had two sets of photos - one a proper tea party at the magical studio of the local artist Boris Penson and the other - a ship adrift from the sea with boxes of treasures and girls in fancy clothes. The ship led associations to the singer Adam Ant and his pirate clothes . So we painted on the girls in Adam Ant's makeup style and added punk hairdos and a hint of black soot from the drifting ship .
Since there was another collection, but we knew we would not have time to move further we created another set on the sand . A surreal geometrical set suitable for the black and white collection with strong graphic elements of the giant balls and surprising graphic photographic compositions with wide lens .
In addition to all this the main element that surprised and attracted a lot of social media attention was the fact that the photographs of the girls were taken in large groups .
Such fashion photographs are less common because of the complexity and even more rare when it comes to children . There are,indeed ,many photographs of children in groups but they are always in a state of a raging gang one way or another, but here were photographs of groups highly stylized and staged in detail. And each of the three groups of a different nature .
