Lady Globes October 2011

Hana Azulay Hasfari is an Israeli actress ,director and Playwright

 When I was asked to photograph her for Lady Globes I thought of either photographing her at the Jaffa Flee Market ,which I know (from an interview  ) she likes a lot , or on a set inspired by Mad Men.

Since it was for a Cover shot too, I thought that something more stylized would work better and decided to go for the Mad Men option .

The big challenge was to find a location !

I straight away thought of the Dan Hotel and also consulted with architecture experts , then went on a location tour.
The Dan was perfect !

The hotel has kept it's wonderful 5o's design , which is so rare in Tel -Aviv.
