The wedding of princess Tmilola Olatutu and fiancé, Ashiwaju Yemisi Rotimi took place one very cold Friday, a few weeks back, in a wedding hall in Kibbutz Galuyot st., south Tel Aviv. 
The wedding invitation said - dress code yellow and green. I did not know what to expect ... 
A wealth of stunning costumes welcomed us. 
 We shared a table with a group of men who brought to the table a fine bottle of wine and also with colleagues of Princess from the bakery where she works in Bnei Brak.
After all the guests had gathered the ceremony began. The Master of Ceremony announced the venerables (chief) and after they got the applause they took proudly the place in the center.
The chief , who sat until then in the gallery stood up to take the place of honor, greeting everyone with a big wave and smile.
Men and women, dressed in green and yellow greeted the bride and groom’s entrance. Colorful headscarves and gold jewelry for women .
The couple entered the hall dancing, and accompanied with dancers in front of them. The women all dressed in long green dresses and the men in blue identical suits. The little girls were dressed in white dresses and the little boys in suits with bow ties. A lot of gorgeous tribal costumes, too.

Colors, dance, great music and laughter. The entire evening was conducted by an MC.
Special costumes sewn for the occasion, many blessings and especially lots of dancing, joy and love.

 The wedding was one of cheerfulness, and everyone, but really everyone danced.
Everyone was invited in turn to congratulate the couple and danced a dance in their honor with symbolical costumes and moves.

I am not a wedding photographer, but when the bride and groom finally came I realized that I had to push if I want to try and capture them, because there were lots of photographers but me. So I pushed. And I think I have the best pictures of the newlyweds, since I was standing quite directly in front of them !!! :)

החתונה של  הנסיכה טמילולה אולטוטו ושל בחיר ליבה, אשיבז׳ו ימיסי רוטימי, התקיימה יום שישי אחד קר מאוד, לפני כמה שבועות, באולם ברחוב קיבוץ גלויות בתל אביב.     י

בהזמנה לחתונה היה כתוב - דרס קוד צהוב וירוק. לא ידעתי למה לצפות...            י

עושר התלבושות היה מהמם. צהוב וירוק לשורות שקידמו את פני החתן והכלה בהכנסם. כיסויי ראש צבעוניים לנשים ותכשיטי זהב. כחול לרקדנים וירוק לרקדניות שפיזזו בפני החתן והכלה בהכנסם. הילדות בשמלות לבנות והילדים בחליפות עם פפיון. תלבושות שבטיות מהממות, תכשיטים וכובעים.               י

נשים רבות הגיעו כשתינוקות נישאים על גבן

 

  חלקנו שולחן עם חבורת גברים שהביאה איתה בקבוק יין משובח ועם הקולגות של הנסיכה מהקונדיטוריה בה היא עובדת בבני ברק. אחרי שהתקבצו כל האורחים התחיל הטקס. מנהל הטקס הכריז על המכובדים (צ׳יף) והם נכנסו לקול מחיאות הכפיים ותפסו את מקומות הכבוד, במרכז.      י

תלבושות שנתפרו במיוחד לאירוע, המון ברכות ובעיקר המון ריקודים, שמחה ואהבה .                 י

שיירה של רקדנים הובילה את הזוג אל תוך האולם

שיירת הרוקדים שהובילה את הזוג לאולם הורכבה מגברים ניגריים ונשים פיליפיניות. כבוד לנשים שחולקות איתם את אותה הכנסיה

כל הרקדנים לבשו חליפות כחולות ופפיונים צהובים ופיזזו סביב הנשים

 החתונה היתה אחת העליזות,מושקעות, וכולם ,אבל ממש כולם, רקדו.      י

אני לא מצלמת חתונות אבל כשהחתן והכלה סוף סוף נכנסו הבנתי שאני חייבת להידחף אם אני רוצה ״לתפוס״ אותם, כי היו עוד המון צלמים חוץ ממני. אז נדחפתי. ולדעתי יש לי את הצילומים הכי טובים של הזוג הטרי, כי אני עמדתי יחידה ישר מולם !!! :)                     י

אינסוף ריקודים. כל אחד הוזמן בתורו לברך את הזוג ורקד לכבודו ריקוד. המקלות הם חלק מהלבוש וסמל. הכל סימלי
