התצפית היפה ביותר על תל אביב נמצאת ביפו

הבלוג הזה נועד במקור בעצם, לספר לעולם איזה לוקיישנים מדהימים יש בארץ, כדי שיבואו לצלם פה 

טוב, זה עבד כבר כמה פעמים

אז אני ממשיכה

והפעם על עיר שאני ממש ממש אוהבת וכבר כתבתי עליה המון כי אני מצלמת בה המון - יפו

 זה פוסט על הרומן שלי עם יפו העתיקה, או דעות מתחלפות לגבי לוקיישנים, וגם על מותג בגדי ים ישראלי נהדר

במשך שנים יפו העתיקה היתה בעיני קיטץ׳
סמטאות נקיות מדי, כמו דיסנילנד של עתיקות לתיירים

כילדה נהגתי ללכת עם הורי ליפו העתיקה, לאכול גלידה על המרפסת של ״קפה אלדין״ שצופה לתל אביב. כשגדלתי חשבתי שיפו העתיקה היא מלכודת תיירים. מה שדי נכון. אבל לאט לאט הבנתי שהיא באמת מקסימה. האבנים העתיקות, הסימטאות, הכנסיות, הים ומנגד תל אביב הסוערת. ומה לעשות, חלק מזה נוכס ע״י התיירים. כמו בויה ונטו , בשנז אליזה ופיקדילי סירקוס, אם להיתלות באילנות גבוהים. הפעם הראשונה שצילמתי ביפו העתיקה היתה לקטלוג גרמני 

ואמרתי לעצמי שלא נורא, הם בטח יאהבו את זה כי הם גרמנים ולא יבינו שזה קיטצ׳ ויחשבו שיפו העתיקה אקזוטית

אח״כ הבנתי שהיא באמת אקזוטית ונדירה, ואין הרבה כמוה בעולם כולו

ואז התחלתי לצלם ביפו העתיקה בלי רגשות אשם

אני מדגישה את העתיקה כי את עג׳מי אהבתי תמיד וצילמתי בה כל הזמן . ז״א - מאז שהתחלתי לצלם..         י

לצילומים של אספרי דה וקאנס, מותג בגדי הים היוקרתי, החלטנו להשתמש באלמנטים שיחודיים לישראל בכלל ולתל אביב בפרט

ים כחול, שמש, חול זהוב, אבנים עתיקות, סמטאות ודלתות מיסתוריות  ותל אביב המלהיבה מנגד. אתר היסטורי חד-פעמי ומנגד העיר המסעירה - תל אביב !        י

את הצילומים בחרנו לעשות על שפת הים היפה של יפו, בעיר העתיקה 

וגם בנקודה בנמל יפו שצופה על תל אביב וקו הרקיע שלה

אני מקווה שההתלהבות שלנו מיפו , מתל אביב ומאספרי דה וקאנס, עברה בצילומים 

Monasteries in Israel

One of our greatest treasures in terms of locations, in Israel, are the monasteries.

At the Abu Gosh Benedictine Monastery  1989 Michaela Bercu for Orna Elami

Always located in the most beautiful places and the buildings themselves full of charm and mystery.

 I read, in the morning newspaper, about a dispute over ownership of the Monastery of the Cross, and this reminded me of the catalog I've shoot there  for the late designer Izzika Gaon.

For this production I looked all over Israel, I am not exaggerating, for a location that would convey Izzika Gaon's designs of glass, and I found it in the halls of the Monastery of the Cross, Jerusalem.

 I have photographed the cover of the catalog in the abandoned and mysterious cellars.

And the glass collections, in the stone carved shelves of the charming hospitality rooms  of the Greek Orthodox Church - Orthodox monastery, on the roof.

I have shot there a few fashion productions, but this project is strongly set in my mind, since it was very complicated technically and logistically.

Another monastery that I love to visit and I have shot there several times is "Notre Dame de Zion" in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem.

That in a nutshell. 
There are lots of monasteries in really wonderful places - Beit Jamal, Old City of Jerusalem,  Abu Ghosh, Latrun , Mount Tabor, around the Sea of ​​Galilee ...
 A real treasure.

אחד מהאוצרות הגדולים ביותר שלנו במונחים של לוקיישנים, בישראל, הם המנזרים
ממוקמים תמיד במקומות הכי היפים והבניינים עצמם מלאי קסם , כמו קפסולה של זמן מעולם אחר

שמעתי שבמנזר הגיאורגי בעמק המצלבה יש עכשיו בית קפה קטן . זה מפתיע משום שהמנזרים היו תמיד סגורים בפני הקהל הרחב . מתקיימים בעולם מקביל למציאות הישראלית

כשצילמנו שם את הקטלוג של יצירות הזכוכית של איזיקה גאון המנוח , אירחו אותנו הנזירים לארוחת צהריים משותפת ,כולל תפילה וברכה על המזון .
להפקה הזו חיפשנו בכל רחבי ישראל, ללא הגזמה , אתר הולם לעיצובים של איזיקה גאון מזכוכית, ומצאנו אותו במנזר בעמק המצלבה בירושלים
  צילמנו את העטיפה של הקטלוג במרתפים העתיקים הנטושים
 ואת אוספי הזכוכית  על המדפים המגולפים באבן של חדרי האירוח המקסימים של הכנסייה היוונית האורתודוקסית , על הגג
צילמתי בעמק המצלבה גם כמה הפקות אופנה, אבל הפרויקט הזה זכור לי במיוחד, משום שהיה מאוד מסובך מבחינה טכנית ולוגיסטית
        מנזר נוסף שאני אוהבת לבקר וצילמתי בו כמה פעמים הוא מנזר האחיות - "נוטרדאם דה ציון" בעין כרם, ירושלים
וגם בכל האזור הנפלא ,מעין עיר מנזרים וכנסיות ב - הר ציון

 
זה על קצה המזלג
יש עוד המון מנזרים במקומות ממש נפלאים - בית ג'מאל, העיר עתיקה של ירושלים, אבו גוש, לטרון, הר תבור, בסביבת הכנרת ... אוצר של ממש

The Muslim cemetery in Jaffa

I went for a location tour ,for a new project and the door to this Muslim cemetery was open , so I went in.
It's quite spooky ,very run down ,but beautiful.
One day they will probably open it for the public ,but I hope they don't renovate it too much.

My first job from the net

I met Claudia Manukian on the net - first through The Marker Cafe ( Israeli social network )and then through Facebook.

From time to time she responded to my posts and I checked out her work and was impressed.

A week ago I received from her a call.She is in need of photos. And so began the first project for me coming directly from the net.
I must admit that it's very exciting.

I include some "behind the scenes " shots and soon will write a post on the actual shoot.

Kadoori,the stylist and Nirit the make-up artist arrange the clothes and make-up on Rima the
model.

Today,the day of the shoot,falls the heaviest downpour of the year.

We photographed under the yarkon bridge because of this and not on the background of a large concrete wall that had first been decided on.

After 5 scenes in the rain we decided to return to the comforts of the studio and continue there.

The model,Rima,simply was freezing in Claudia's light scarves.

In the studio you have to pay more attention to all the small details.
