Somtimes All you need is Beauty

 Usually when I shoot fashion I am drawn to more complex ideas, but sometimes, especially in  the current mood in Israel, I feel it necessary to simply make beautiful photographs,ones that extend your heart and make you breath deeper. This was the idea when I started working on the fashion editorial for the November issue of Shamenet.

בדרך כלל גם כשאני מצלמת אופנה אני נמשכת לרעיונות יותר מורכבים , אבל לפעמים ,ובמיוחד לאור הלך הרוח הנוכחי בישראל ,אני מרגישה שיש צורך פשוט בצילומים יפים ,בצילומים שמרחיבים את הלב . זו הייתה נקודת המוצא כשהתחלתי לעבוד על כתבת האופנה של חודש נובמבר ל"שמנת" .

Didi Paz & Mirjam Roth . Make up time

The inspiration for makeup and hair was Monica Vitti, that Mirjam Roth, our beautiful model, is very reminiscent of.

ההשראה לאיפור ולשיער היתה מוניקה ויטי ,שמרים רוט ,הדוגמנית שלנו , מזכירה אותה מאוד

ואז עברנו לאתר הצילום עצמו , מועדון חתירה על גדת הירקון ,שנבחר בגלל קירבתו למי הנהר - הירקון ,שעבר טיהור רציני ושתי גדותיו הן מקום לספורט ומנוחה .

Then we moved to the shooting location itself, Rowing Club on the banks of theYarkon, chosen because of its proximity to the river Yarkon . The river has been seriously purified and both banks are a place for sports and relaxation.

  . המועדון הוקם ב - 1935 והוא שמורת טבע קטנה עם טעם של פעם 
מעין צריף קיבוץ ששודרג ויש בו את כל מה שצריך , צנוע אבל עם נוף הכי לוקסוס לירקון 
 
   . The club was founded in 1935 and is kind of a nature reserve with a taste of the past
A sort of Kibbutz style hut upgraded,modest but with the most luxurious Yarkon River View

התמקמנו והתחלנו לצלם במועדון ומסביבו

כשהגענו לדק והתחלנו לצלם ראינו שקבוצת נוער התיישבה בדיוק לידנו לשיעור רישום

בתום הצילומים גילינו שאחת התלמידות התמקדה בדוגמנית שלנו , מרים . 
איך לא ?! 
 
Then we Settled down and started to shoot at the club and around

When we reached the deck, and we started photographing, we saw a group of teenagers sitting right next to us for a drawing class

When we finished the session we discovered that one of the students has focused on our model, Mirjam.
Obviously !

A drawing class sat right above us

Our model became their model too

הצילומים נערכו כולם באור יום ,כשהדגש הוא על עור קורן והרבה מים .

The photos were all taken in daylight, with the emphasis on radiant skin and a lots of water in the frame
