Allenby #2 This time Fashion

If you are following this blog you know already that I have a special sentiment for Allenby street.

This time we shot fashion.

It wasn't easy. Allenby is one of the loudest, messiest, and full of weirdos, especially at the part I chose to photograph.

Anyway, it was worth it.

The street has a retro vibe

And also a very urban cool feel

This story is basically a mixture of urban and retro. This entrance for example is a real 70's creation, combined with our cool model Anya Martirosov, it turns into something new.

השבוע לב התחיל ללכת למעון של ויצו בתל -אביב וזו התרגשות גדולה לכל בני המשפחה .מאיה ואיל נשארים עם לב בבוקר ,פעם היא ופעם הוא .

 I have recently  encountered the blog of Julia Roitfeld about mothers and babies

a Must !

 So I decided to do a series of photographs of chic mothers ***The first very chic mother is Maja Martin , digital Marketing manager at a design firm, and partner of Eyal de Leeuw 's external relations director of the Design Museum Holon ,and their son Lev.Maja maintains cool in 100% Tel Aviv humidity :)She believes that you should put limits to children but sometimes releases completely .
Last week Lev started going to the kindergarten and this is a big excitement to the new family .

 Maja and Eyal keep turns ,so each day one of them stays in the morning to see that Lev is happy .

Gymnasium Days

לכבוד תחילת שנת הלימודים שלפתי מהארכיון, את הגירסה שלי לתלבושת האחידה

הסיגריה הראשונה

צילמתי את הצילומים האלה לפני למעלה מעשר שנים , אבל כידוע המדים של הגימנסיה לא משתנים .  ולמרות שהאסוציאציות שקשורות אליהם, לעיתים קרובות קשות ומדכאות ,הם תמיד יפים . 

למתוח את החולצה זה מבצע

צילמתי את הכתבה ליד הירקון , לשם הייתי "מתפלחת" בזמן לימודי בבית הספר התיכון , לקרוא ספרים ולהפליג בחלומות על העתיד .

For the school year I pulled from the archive, my version of school uniform.

I took these photographs over ten years ago, but we know Gymnasium uniforms do not change. 

 

 And although the associations related to them, often severe and oppressive, they are always beautiful. 

 I took the story at the Yarkon River, where I used to "deadhead" during high school, read books and sail dreams about the future.

The model is the beautiful Mor Katzir and the hairstylist , the talented Izik Zabag .

Photographing Swimwear

Photographing Swimwear is one of the most complicated projects for a fashion photographer. 

 Almost nothing to hide behind and yet everything has to look perfect.
This week we made new photos to - Esprit De Vacance, a lovely Israeli swimwear brand .
The brand appeals to a sophisticated / trendy / young crowd , so we "allowed"  ourselves to shoot in a less conventional manner, but with a commercial-style  backup.

צילום בגדי ים הוא אחד הפרוייקטים המסובכים ביותר לצלם אופנה . כמעט ואין מאחרי מה להסתתר ובכל זאת הכל צריך להיראות מושלם .
השבוע עשינו צילומים חדשים ל - Esprit De Vacance , מותג בגדי ים ישראלי מקסים בעיצוב גלית לורבר .
המותג פונה לקהל מתוחכם/אופנתי/צעיר ולכן "הרשינו" לעצמנו לצלם בצורה פחות קונבנציונלית , אבל עם גיבוי בסגנון מסחרי .
זו אחת התמונות האהובות עלי באופן אישי משנה שעברה . בקרוב נעלה צילומים חדשים מ - 2013 .

Botanical Magic

On one of my recent location tours I visited the Botanical Gardens at Mikveh Israel .

The place was founded in 1930 by Professor Oto Verburg and is absolutely amazing .

I took these snapshots with my Iphone , I hope to be coming back soon for a real shoot .
