כשניגשנו לצילומים של כלי הקרמיקה והעולם העשיר והגרנדיוזי של האמן סמי די ב -2009 עבור ספר על עיצוב ישראלי הצעתי לסמי לקחת ציור קלאסי כבסיס לצילומים שלנו

מצאנו את הדוגמנית המושלמת ,   ויצרנו בתהליך קפדני וכיפי את הצילום הזה



הצילום הופיע בספר העיצוב הישראלי בהוצאת אורלי רובינזון וגם בתערוכת אימג'יניישן של בנק הפועלים , שם רכש אותו איש עסקים למשרדו .

For the new Dior campaign  Inez and Vinod took inspiration from Manet's famous painting - le dejeuner sur l'herb

When working on  Samy.D 's portfolio for an Israeli design book I offered Samy to take a classic painting as the basis for our imagery.
Samy came back with a thick book in which this wonderful painting of Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres .

We found the perfect model, and in a  rigorous  and fun process created  this photo .

UnderCurrents

תערוכת הצילום ,"זרמים תת קרקעיים" ,שהצגתי בבית האמנים בתל -אביב  ,ירדה לפני שבועיים .

המבקרים היו רבים ,אבל למי שפיספס אני מעלה כאן סרטון קצר בו צילמתי את התערוכה 

בנוסף , נשאר מספר קטן של עותקים מהספר שליווה את התערוכה וניתן לרכוש אותו במרמלדה מרקט .

 My Photo Exhibition "Undercurrents", presented at the Artists in Tel - Aviv, ended two weeks ago.

There were many visitors, but for those who missed it I have uploaded here a short video of the exhibition.

In addition, a small number of remaining copies of the book that accompanied the exhibition  can be purchased Marmalade Market. 

 

I love working with dancers

I  love working with dancers ,so when PM Designers approached me for the project of  Press Sense print flow I was really excited.

The big challenge was finding the dancers.

We have done a few auditions until we established the fact that we need a group of dancers that know each other and have danced together before.

When we saw Naim ensemble dancers we knew right away that this is it!
It was such an elevation ,seeing them dance in my studio. Endless energy and grace.

I hope these feeling are captured .

My private location

The Noga quarter in Jaffa, home to my studio ,is a great location.
Whenever I need a cool ,convincing or authentic ,background ,I just go out the door.
It can look old fashioned : Or classical

Young:Or moody .

It's actually 6 streets , all bearing the names of unknown women , for some reason : Diza,Tirtza, Ruchama , Sgula ,etc..

It looks quite plain , right on the north edge of Jaffa ,kissing Tel -Aviv ,but as you can see it has a lot of potential.
